In 2025, The Card & Payments Awards is proud to support The King’s Trust, formerly The Prince’s Trust. The King’s Trust are dedicated to empowering young people and transforming their lives by supporting them to build the confidence and skills to live, learn and earn. They strive to provide opportunities for young individuals to thrive and succeed regardless of their background.
As the UK’s leading charity for young people, The King’s Trust listens to their issues and concerns in order to understand their needs and provide the best possible support. Founded in 1976 by His Majesty The King when he was HRH The Prince of Wales, The King’s Trust has achieved remarkable impact:
- 1 million young lives transformed since The Trust was founded in 1976.
- £1.4 billion in societal value generated over ten years, including £400 million through youth employment.
- Three in four young people supported over the last five years have moved into work, education or training, building brighter futures for themselves and their communities.
The King’s Trust provide young people with courses, resources and other support to help people ages 11 to 30 to develop essential life skills, get ready for work and access job opportunities because having a job or running a business can lead to a more stable and fulfilling life. When young people succeed communities flourish, and with support The King’s Trust can continue to deliver lasting change.
