There are two primary types of information provided by The Card and Payments Awards' customers. The definitions and treatments of these types are as follows:
Financial Information – Payment information gathered during the registration process for booking tables or entering awards – including but not limited to, credit card numbers, financial institutions, and expiration dates – is considered Financial. This information is collected online or via the post and not distributed under any circumstances.
Personal Information – Data that customers provide to TCPA through various methods of communication is considered personal information that is stored and managed for The Card and Payments Awards’ internal use. Personal information includes, but is not limited to, name, address, company name, company address, phone number, email address, as well as questions answered on survey or registration forms. Data captured during a customer’s visit to TCPAUS’s website is also considered personal information and may be stored for internal use; however, it will be deleted at the end of the event cycle (in March of the year the awards take place).
